Deviation Actions
The submission guidelines to the group are very simple.
First, the group will only accept sonnets, sonnet-like forms, or works relating to sonnets (e.g. tutorials, guides, analyses). While other poetic forms are definitely awesome and worth writing and reading, we encourage you to check out formfindsfunction for all your traditional poetic form needs.
Second, sonnets must be submitted into the correct folder describing the type of sonnet. If the sonnet is not submitted to the correct folder, we will either move it or remove it. If the type of sonnet you are submitting doesn't have a corresponding folder, just send the group a note and we'll get it fixed!
Crowns or sonnet sequences compiled in one deviation should be submitted to the Featured folder. We want to give you the recognition you deserve for such a feat! If you have a sequence or crown divided into several deviations, note us about it and we'll see if we can set up a special subfolder for you.

FSC Features!
Well, the crowns have finally come in, so I'm proud to feature them! We had three entries this time around, one Rainis crown and two Heroic crowns!
Major props to MagicalJoey (https://www.deviantart.com/magicaljoey), who completed two crowns.

FSC 2016: Official Thread
This year, the challenge will require you to write a crown of sonnets.
A crown of sonnets is a set of sonnets written about a common theme. Each individual sonnet ends with the first line of the next sonnet, and the last sonnet ends with the first line of the first sonnet, creating a loop.
This year, we will have three levels of varying length and difficulty. I realize that February is a rather popular time for challenges and contests (like ProjectDFC (https://www.deviantart.com/projectdfc)’s very own February Form Fiesta), so we’ll have a short one that can be completed in 9 days. The others can be completed in 14 days or 15 days. We'll also have some small priz
February Sonnet Challenge 2016 coming soon!
Hi everyone! Hope everyone is excited for another year of great poetry, especially sonnets!
If you feel sufficiently recuperated from ProjectDFC (https://www.deviantart.com/projectdfc), we have another poetry challenge coming your way. February Sonnet Challenge (FSC 2016), your favorite two-week long challenge, is coming back from February 1-14 (just in time for Valentine's!) with perhaps the most difficult challenge we've assigned yet.
In the past, we've explored many different types of sonnets, from the classic Petrarchan and Shakespearean forms, to more esoteric ones like the Blues, Curtal, and many other types. These challenges were laid out with style guides very simila
Project DFC is here, Sonneteers!
Hey all,
LaBruyere (https://www.deviantart.com/labruyere) here.
Sorry for the absence. Been finishing my M.A. and also participating in NaNoWriMo 2015! Finished an hour ago.
The exciting news is that it's time to jump into another December Form Challenge!
Our affiliates over at ProjectDFC (https://www.deviantart.com/projectdfc) have been hard at work to craft a new challenge for 2015, and we want you to join in as well. I personally have participated several times, and I promise you it is great for flexing those fixed form muscles.
Here's the info you need: http://fav.me/d9g8gxm
Happy Writing!
