Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

February Sonnet Challenge!

I am incredibly excited to announce our first February Sonnet Challenge (FSC)! Running from the first of February to Valentine's Day (February 1-14), be prepared for the most lyrical fortnight of 2013 as you explore 14 different sonnet forms!

The sonnet forms for each day are contained in the 2013 FSC Guide, which you can take a look at here: [link]

Each day has a different sonnet form for you to test your mettle against, with explanations and examples provided. Prompts are not given this year, although I do suggest you use your Valentine's Day sonnet to write to that special someone.

If for any reason you cannot open or view the PDF, you may download a Word document version from my dropbox instead: [link]

I will open up an FSC 2013 folder for you to submit your entries to, for your reading pleasure. After the challenge is done, I will copy submissions to their respective form folders. FSC will run from February 1, 12 AM PST (GMT - 8) to February 15, 12 AM PST.

If you are interested in participating, please reply to this journal, or send me a note so that I can add you to the participant list!
